How to read the results

Trust, revelation and glorification require evidence linking the name to the act itself, not just words appearing in the same verse. Compound names remain complete. “No” means no classified evidence is available in the current approved data; it does not assert absence from the Quran. Occurrence counts follow the site’s approved evidence. For compound names, roots of their parts are shown. Each other name is counted once, even when it shares several roots; the current name is excluded.

Quranic verses

36. Then when she gave birth to her [child Maryam (Mary)], she said: "O my Lord! I have given birth to a female child," - and Allah knew better what she brought forth, - "And the male is not like the female, and I have named her Maryam[6] (Mary), and I seek refuge with You (Allah) for her and for her offspring from Shaitân (Satan), the outcast."

Translation notes
[6] (V.3:36) Maryam (مريم) literally means: maidservant of Allah.
